The Counter Productions gallery is an artist-run venue committed to the exhibition of ideas and innovation in art. The gallery focuses on new art forms, emerging artists and opens the door to student artists looking for exhibition experience. Counter Productions operates as a platform for the Near West/UIC community, with hopes of enriching its immediate surrounding, while providing a solid base for artists looking to get away from the stale presentation of modern art.

Fausto is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, as well as a founding member of www.apolloproject.org. His artwork is a reflection of urban landscapes and themes. Through the incorporation of linear and graffiti derived styles he attempts to create beauty and cohesion out of an otherwise detached and chaotic urban environment.
